Life at Taurima - Our Student Accommodation

Taurima is a great place to live - here’s what you can expect!

Full Board

We provide delicious meals seven days a week. There is a choice of toast, fruit, yoghurt and cereal for breakfast, cooked or cut lunches and a cooked dinner at night with dessert.

It’s important that you don’t go hungry, so if you can't join us for lunch, there are cut lunch fillings available during breakfast so that you can prepare sandwiches to take with you. If you can’t join us for dinner, we'll keep your dinner for you to heat up on your return.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks are available anytime between breakfast and lock-up at night.

Our Family Environment and Fun Facilities

As you'd expect, there are a range of facilities for residents to use. There is a lounge in the main building and a recreation building which contains a pool table, gym, piano, a second lounge and a study area. The token-operated laundry is equipped with two washing machines and a commercial clothes dryer.

Internet access - and importantly, fast internet at that - is included as part of your fees.

Comfortable and Secure Rooms

We only have single rooms at Taurima – so you'll have your own room and won’t have to share your space with someone else!

The bedrooms are centrally heated in winter.

All our beds are divans (with drawers underneath) and there are built in desks and wardrobes with shelves.

Fresh linen is provided each week - this includes sheets, towels and pillowslips.

Safe and Secure

Our staff are on duty 24 hours a day, with at least two staff members on site during the night.

There is limited off-street parking for residents' cars only and a lock up bike shed.
